Tyler Kupferer [kuhp-fur] is an award-winning director, writer and producer, best known for his animated shorts. His film "The Girl and the Fox" was nominated for an Annie Award in 2012 and a Student Academy Award in 2011. His films have screened at hundreds of events and festivals worldwide.

Born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, Tyler attended Purdue University for undergrad and the Savannah College of Art and Design for graduate school. He currently resides in Los Angeles, working for Walt Disney Animation Studios and consulting for independent studios.
